Mongolia has interesting people, and I got to meet
some of them. Here is Dr. Noel Horton, a
man outstanding in his field (well, it wasn’t really his field, just a field).
Here is Dr Horton with several of his students. I would explain the significance of the
salutes, but I haven’t a clue.
And here is another. (I got permission before taking
the photos).
These people are interesting, but more important
these people are all loved by the L^rd G^d who created the Universe, and who
reigns over it, and who died for mankind.
It behooves us all to remember,
It behooves us all to remember,
“You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations,
cultures, arts, civilization -- these are mortal, and their life is to ours as
the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry,
snub and exploit …” C.S. Lewis,
"The Weight of Glory"
