Missing You!!

Although we have loved being in Sweden and meeting new friends, and seeing a new culture and beautiful landscape, we miss our friends and family.

There isn’t time to describe all of you, but did want to mention some people chosen strictly at random.

Let’s see…

Daniel A.D. Bishop is a terrific young man with a lot of energy and a sharp mind.  He is a guy who will greatly inconvenience himself for the sake of a friend.

Kelly is a well-read, excellent mother of two TERRIFIC kids.  Her taste in authors is generally exquisite.

David is a fun-loving guy who has learned the world’s most difficult language.  He is one of those rare individuals who can teach Middle-Schoolers and actually enjoys it!!

Andrew is a thoughtful planner who seems to have a real knack for scientific analyses.  He is a talented photographer, and should make a very good prof.

Anna, is a sweetheart in every way.  She is thoughtful, kind, and loving, a great well-rounded young woman.

As so many parents told us before, they’re all different, and they all make their unique contribution to our own lives.

The married kids have Blessed us greatly through their spouses, Michael, Shannon and Ben!

Absence indeed makes the heart grow fonder.

When young couples ask for advice on parenting, we suggest that they memorize Psalm 127. 

In part it says, “…behold children are a gift of the L^rd, the fruit of the womb is a reward, like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one’s youth…”.
