A friend took Brenda for a drive on the lake today. They have a lot of rules for this.
Here's where they went onto the ice.
Brenda says it was a bit scary, because of how the ice looked.
Some times the ice is thicker than it looks. Sometimes the risks aren't as great as they might appear.
I oftentimes fear things that are perfectly safe, and ignore risks that really are dangerous.
"Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matt 10:28
- You shouldn't drive too fast or you could crack through the ice.
- You shouldn't follow too closely to another vehicle, or you could crack the ice.
- You have to stay between the poles, or you could crack the ice.

I've so enjoyed reading this blog during the times when Claude (now 3 months old) seems so consuming. It reminds me that there's a great, big, often wonderful, world out there.
