The campus of Mid-Sweden University, where the Nationellt Vintersport Centrum is housed, is on an old Swedish Military base. I am suspecting it has been updated with the art you see above and below.
This is just a sample of the art around campus and the town. Below you can see some art in the city across from where we live. If you are from a city, you might say, "Well most cities have art.", but when we talk about living in the "city" folks laugh at us, because Ostersund is really a small town.
The art above is from the vestibule of our Church Building, and there is more art there too.
We found the above lighted greenery a bit artistic outside the Capt. Cook bar. It's simple but appealing.
The above isn't actually real art, but we had to include it.
And this statue is located on the lake in Winternparken, and I am sure it has some significance, which we have not yet learned. It is artful (you can tell because it would otherwise be prohibited.)
The above are just art scattered through town.
G^d, for some reason, granted us a sense of beauty and aesthetics. I'm glad that he did.
