There is beauty surrounding us here in Botswana. I have written and shown photos of the many varieties of trees and flowers. The freshly swept ground, the neat trimming of the shrubbery, the arrangement of rocks, the night sky.
But the most beautiful of all are the Batswana here. Not that they all are good looking, not all friendly, not all personable. They are beautiful because they are created by G^d, created in His image. G^d loved each one enough to die for each one. Even the ones that I don't find so loveable.
By the same token, I suppose many Batswana do not find me appealing,
personable, or good looking (go figure). But likewise, The Christ died
for me nonetheless. And, though we may not have much in common, we do
have that.
All we like sheep have gone astray. (Isa 53:6)

Thank G^d that we have the John passage to go along with the one from Isaiah.
No really, thank G^d for His grace that we who are part of His Body share together!!
