Personal Economics

Brenda and I are amazed at the high prices here.  Food is high.   Clothes are expensive.  Light bulbs are costly.

What we really can't figure out is, how do families with 2-3 teens make it?  Bus fares are high (to us), and a hamburger and coke at McDonalds will run over $10 (About the cheapest place in town).

Yet, international travel is common here.  People generally live in nice houses and drive nice cars.  Judging by the great number of discarded gloves and hats, hanging on to these things is not a high priority.
