"12 Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he
will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the
temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able
to endure it." 1 Corinths 10:12-13
I, like many, depend on myself WAY too much. "I can do this". Yeah, maybe for trivial things, I can. But, I am learning that I seldom stand, at least if there is any pressure.
I marvel at my own unbelief. I know a lot of Scripture, I obey a little. So MUCH G^d has done for me, and I have such little gratitude. I fall to temptation, even when a way of escape is so very obvious.
Humanity is fallen, there can be NO doubt. I am fallen, without a doubt. Thanks be to G^d that He is merciful and He extends Grace to us all.
Take he, lest you also fall!
