Brenda has found a real treasure. It’s the Loppis (Flea market or second hand store). The prices in Sverige are pretty high. A burger (not one with fries and a coke) at McDonalds can set you back about $9.
It is a rocker, potty chair, high chair, and who knows how old?
Treasures can be found in the unlikely places. When others saw mediocrity, Jesus saw disciples. While others see sinners, The Christ makes us into saints! Aren't we glad???
But the Loppis has prices that can get my (Phil’s) attention. Today we bought a clock radio for less than $2. A wooden handled hand mirror was about $.80, and I bought an old kitchen knife for $1.05 (it’s pretty neat, no really it is).
They had some old spinning wheels, real ones, for less than $20. Man, if we could get those back to the USA, we could make $$$. They had one great photo of Ostersund that we wish we had a way to get back to Alabama.
And below is a TRIPLE- prize:

So fun! I think it would be worth shipping one or two of those... :)
ReplyDeleteThey had a chair like that in the local Antique store last month sometime, but I didn't note the price.
