Bishop-Style "Vacation"

We have been a lot of places, but never North of the Arctic Circle.  We did this trip.

But, I wanted to describe what we did over the last 8 days.  This is pretty typical of how we "vacation".

We:

• Traveled Ostersund to Malmo on sleeper train (all travel was train travel on RailPass)
• Toured Malmo Waterfront area (beautiful) with Phil's old friend Dr. Torsten Buhre.
• Phil went to a Swedish Doctoral "proposal seminar" by a Ph.D. student
• Visited a wonderful city skate park (built by friend of Dr Buhre).
• Visited a huge beautiful "Castle Park and Gardens"
• Toured Castle and museum
• Visited ecological museum
• Visited Technological Museum
• Traveled to Goteborg
• Visited World cultures Museum
• Did Canal tour (terrific)
• Did Bus tour of city
• Visited major park
• Visited Natural History museum
• Visited Malmo Art Museum (saw works by Masters)
• Took ferry around Malmo archipelago
• Went to Universeum (neat museum with wildlife, rainforest etc.)
• Traveled to Stockholm (Here's where we really got busy):
• Aquarium, Skansen, Biological Museum, Nordiska Museum, Tower, Foto Museum, City Museum, Royal Treasury, Boat Canal tour, Palace Armory, Middle East Museum, national Art museum (more Masters here!), City Hall guided tour.
• Traveled home to Froson via Sundsvall.
• Took about 440 pictures!

Whew!  We really, really "redeemed the time" whilst we were visiting the three largest cities in all of Sverige!

Oh, that we would redeem the time we spend in service of Christ!!
