One of the curious habits of the Lead Researcher here, is that he always writes on the white board. There are a lot of whiteboards scattered through the lab spaces, and they are all covered with scribbling.
The post-docs have picked up on it, and they are quick to write whenever they have the opportunity.
I think it's a great idea.
You're stuck or lost, and you start to write, and suddenly everything begins to clear up. Everyone can see what you are thinking, and the act of interpretation seems to jump start their brains.
Next thing you know, things are flowing along.
I know of no Scriptural command to write, but I do know that there is something to this. Maybe it's not true for everyone, but the act of writing these little posts, has helped me think about our experiences here.
Try it for yourself. Start writing and see where G^d might guide your pen.
