Gelato!!

One of the outstanding features of Italy, or Eataly, is gelato.  It is popular, ubiquitous, and delicious.

It seemed a bit pricey to me, at about $3 for a small cone.  But, as that old saying goes, when in Rome, eat gelato.

The flavors were a bit different than the common ones in the USA.
I had a Sicilian cake once and a frutti di bosco + melon on another occasion.  Brenda had a mint once and a fragola (strawberry).  Again it is hard to calculate how the Italians avoid obesity eating this stuff regularly.  The gelato shops are NOT rare.

Gelato, according to the WWW has LESS fat than icecream, but it is made more slowly so it is more dense.  According to an expert, with less fat, the flavors come through more clearly.  I am not sure that is true (ice milk?) but it certainly is tasty.

One of the nicest things about gelato is the shop keepers, on a whole, seemed very nice, and very friendly.Ps

19: 9-10 says, "The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.  More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb."

As sweet as gelato is, there apparently is something sweeter still!
