One strange bird

One of the most exotic birds I have seen in Africa is the hoopoe.  I have only seen it one place, on the UB campus on two occassions.

It is a pretty bird, an unusual bird, and a little bird.  I am not sure why it is so appealing, maybe because I don't see it very often.

I don't know much about the hoopoe, it's not flashy, not big, not as pretty as some other birds.  That may be why it is a favorite.  G^d so often uses the ordinary things in this world.

"Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful."  1 Corinth 1:27.

L^rd use me.
