People of Mongolia Unite!

Mongolia has interesting people, and I got to meet some of them.  Here is Dr. Noel Horton, a man outstanding in his field (well, it wasn’t really his field, just a field).

Here is Dr Horton with several of his students.  I would explain the significance of the salutes, but I haven’t a clue.

Here is Oni, a senior at MIU and the KEY organizer of the student-faculty retreat.

This is a random but interesting street person.

And here is another. (I got permission before taking the photos).

These people are interesting, but more important these people are all loved by the L^rd G^d who created the Universe, and who reigns over it, and who died for mankind.

It behooves us all to remember,
“You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilization -- these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub and exploit …”            C.S. Lewis, "The Weight of Glory"
