What we Christians can learn from the NVC Lab II

The Nationellt Vinternsport Centrum lab where I (Phil) work is in Bldg D of the Mid-Sweden University.  I work with scientists from:  Great Britain, Austria, Quebec, Utah, Sweden, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, and some places I can’t recall.

They have some super equipment, but the most astounding thing is the attitude of cooperation.  Their goal is to do first rate research, which requires first-rate skills.  They don’t necessarily try to learn how to be the top measurers in the world, they simply find that person and invite them to come to their lab to work together.  And they come!

What a strange idea, cooperation instead of competition.

Go figure.
What would happen if Churches, Christian Groups, and indivdiual Christians avoided competition and embraced whole-hearted cooperation?  We do a little, can we do more? Wouldn’t G^d be honored?
