What Color are Zebras?

Doubtlessly one of the favorite animals on the planet is the zebra.  A couple of months ago, I posted some pictures of local zebra from the Gabs Game Reserve.  Since that time, Brenda and I have been able to see hundreds of zebra in the wild.  Thye are indeed beautiful, but we were surprised at what we saw in some zebbras at The Khama Rhino Reserve.
Notice how much BROWN is on this zebra.  It is very dusty here, and we saw zebra dust-bathing, but notice that it is every OTHER stripe that is brown.  This isn't the pattern you get with dirt.
It was truly beautiful to see the mixture of animals together.  The zebra steal the show with sheer numbers.  The dust they kick up just walking across the plain is mysteriously beautiful.
We saw lots of animals nursing.  Locals told us there are often two crops of young per year.  Interesting.

G^d created such a varied and beautiful world.

There is simply no way this happened by chance plus natural selection.  No way.

  1. So on an unrelated note, did your kidney stone pass?

  2. Yes, to all those concerned, the kidney stone passed 8 days after it's initial descent. It appeared to do some damage, but the pain has been gone, Praise the L^rd!!

I appreciate everyone's concern, but most appreciate your prayers. Gives me a whole new appreciation for being healthy!!

  3. So glad to hear it passed; sorry about the damage and pain. My recommendation would be to start stretching. Research proves it cures almost everything.

Speaking of painful experiences, is there any way to remove the captcha requirement on your blog? About 90% of the time the letters and numbers are indiscernible.
